As everyone known, in 18th century, the British government built up a heavy Taxes Act for American Colonists such as unreasonable stamp duty. American Colonists could not bear the government anymore. They decided to fight for their freedom and get the rights for themselves. Then The Boston Tea Party happened. This action is famous as a key event in the American Revolution, but few people know when The Boston Tea Party happened, the British government had canceled every unreasonable Taxes Act except for the tax of tea. Moreover, at that time, tea was not really a welcomed thing. So why did American Colonist still fight? In a sense, the behavior of Boston Tea Party was not very appropriate but just a testy, unthinking, violent and unnecessary demonstration of the Colonists.
Consisdering you may need to check whether my thesis statement is in my intruduction or not. I post my topic question and my thesis statement as following, too:

Douglass decided to escape with his fellow-slaves when he had grown up, but he faced to a lot of difficulty. They were really hesitating. They desired to escape to the free land. Somehow, they even did not know where exactly they should go and whether there was really free or not. They knew too less about the north. Their knowledge could be even not able to extend further than New York! If the north was not really a free land, they might be return or even shot dead! Moreover, the way to free could be really not easy. They must face to the long bumpy travel, the wild dangerous animal and so on. These kinds of difficulty let them be confused. They were afraid about all of them. Somehow, they really wanted to pursue the free. So once they lost the confident, they soon got it back and got together to consult how to let the plan be more perfect.
